For the first time in a decade, the C-section rate for women has dropped, says the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Although the percentage is small (.1 percent from 32.9 in 2009 to 32.8 in 2010), it’s possible evidence that the increase in cesarean births is waning which is good news for babies who benefit from a full-term vaginal birth if possible.
