You're NOT a slacker, but you ARE pregnant. Use your condition wisely, but DO play it from time to time.
Ok, ok, it may not be the kind of thing you’re going to want to do ALL the time, but certainly when a woman’s pregnant, there are a few ideal moments to cut yourself a break.
Here they are:
1) When You’re Traveling By Air
Tell them you’re pregnant and you just may be given extra pillows or be moved to an exit row for additional space. They also might let you board earlier.
(Note: The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says the best time to fly is between 14 and 28 weeks (the second trimester), when medical emergencies related to pregnancy are least likely to occur.)
2) When It’s Time to Eat.
He wants Mexican, but you can’t stomach the idea. Don’t whine, just say, “Can we please go for Chinese? I’m pregnant!”
3) When it’s bath time for your fussy toddler.
Your hubby’s home, too, so try the “Sweetie, can you take care of Tyler’s bath tonight? I really want to put my feet up for a sec …”
