4 Fun Mom/Son Activities

by |

There’s nothing like your little boy! Just make sure you set time apart as often as possible to spend together time. Here are four fun ideas:

1) Play a sport together
Your little boy wants to have fun with YOU and have your full attention. So don’t just sign him up for football or soccer, PLAY it with him, talk about it with him, enjoy it with him.

2) Watch a fun movie together that HE wants to watch. Pop popcorn, make movie mix (pour the M&Ms directly into warm popcorn).

SUGGESTIONS: Shrek; James and the Giant Peach; Space Jam; The Lion King, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original one); Monster House; Cats and Dogs; The Jungle Book; The Incredibles

3) Have a picnic at mealtime
Spread a blanket out on the grass if it’s nice, or spread it on the livingroom floor. Somehow a meal becomes magical when you change up the way its done. After eating together, read a book outloud to each other (just be sure it’s one that HE picks out himself).

4) Go on an outing together
To a museum to look at art, go fishing on the weekend, go ride a pony just for fun.
