Breastfeeding Fun with Live, Love, Latch

by |

Plan for a day of free family fun while focusing on breastfeeding awareness.

Your family can connect with other locals and show a sign of support for breastfeeding during the free, annual Live, Love, Latch event. It takes place on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m – 2 p.m. at Triple Creek Park on Champion Drive in Gallatin.

La Leche League of Portland and Nashville La Leche League co-host the breastfeeding supportive event to bring Sumner and Davidson County families together.

Live, Love, Latch features a potluck brunch and family fun day. Bring a dish to share with everyone; beverages and paper products provided.

Seating is limited, so bring a picnic blanket or camp chairs. Vendors will also be on hand for you to peruse. In addition, a kids’ activity center features games, temporary tattoos, bubbles, chalk and coloring.

There will be carseat checks by the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, a Babywearing 101 session, Breastfeeding Q&A, a silent auction and door prizes. Gift bags are available for the first 50 attendees.
