Cast for a Cure

Fun fishing with pro anglers and country stars for a great cause.

Angling enthusiasts of all ages can gear up for the Cast for a Cure Big Bass Tournament this Saturday, Nov. 4. There’s a lot of prize money up for grabs at this tourney taking place at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville.


Cast for a Cure puts local fishermen alongside professional anglers Bill Dance, Jimmy Houson and Roland Martin. You’ll also be fishing next to country celebs like Dierks Bentley, Chris Young and Brothers Osborne. 

The grand prize is $4,000, with other cash prizes available in adult and youth categories. Registration is $200 adults, free ages 14 and younger. Proceeds benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation’s cancer research initiative.
