Gravity-defying feats courtesy of Cirque performers take the stage at this year's holiday extravaganza at Opryland.
Each year, Gaylord Opryland strives to wow families during the holidays — and there’s something new and exciting for 2017. Cirque Dreams Holidaze hits the stage as part of “A Country Christmas.” This year’s holiday celebration at Opryland runs Nov. 10, 2017 – Jan. 1, 2018. Tickets are on sale now for all attractions.
CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE
Cirque Dreams Holidaze features more than 300 costumes, 20 acts and 30 performers from more than a dozen countries. The on-stage talent will showcase an endless variety of imaginative, gravity-defying feats.
Kids are sure to love seeing acrobatic gingerbread men, toy soldiers on thin wires, balancing snowmen, spinning penguins and more holiday wonders. It’s all set to original music along with seasonal favorites.
The show runs Nov. 18 – Dec. 27. Tickets are $24.99 – $89.99 per person. Ages 3 and younger are free with paying adult but must sit in Mom or Dad’s lap.
MORE COUNTRY CHRISTMAS FAVORITES
One of the most popular “A Country Christmas” attractions among families is the annual ICE! exhibit. Each year, a kid-friendly holiday tale is told through 2 million pounds of colorful ice sculptures. Kids love zipping down the frozen slides near the end of the experience. This year’s story is A Charlie Brown Christmas. It’s on display Nov. 10 – Jan. 1. Tickets are $18.99 – $43.99.
Other festivities include outdoor ice skating and snow tubing (across from the ICE! exhibit), Cookies with Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn carriage rides to see more than 2 million lights, photos with Santa, a Christmas Dinner Show with Diamond Rio, a Snoopy meet and greet, and more!
