There’s a lot of creativity for local kids at a new spot in Goodlettsville. Creative Corner Enrichment Studio is the brainchild of local parents Chris and Valery Keen boasting a wide span of classes for ages 2 – 12.

“As a family dedicated to offering our children options for enrichment classes, we felt there was a need for affordable classes in this community. From that need our studio was born,” says Valery. “We offer classes in art, music, dance, drama, science, home school, mommy and me, and more,” she adds.

Classes at Creative Corner Enrichment Studio run in four-week sessions, ranging in price from $30 – $60. Among the options this month are “Aspiring Artists” on Mondays for ages 3 – 5 (exploring with watercolors and non-toxic acrylics) and “Young Rembrandts” on Thursdays for ages 6 and older (developing technique and style while working with chalk, watercolors, acrylics, oil, charcoal and more).

Keen says the center’s dance and tumbling classes are popular, and there’s a variety of them for ages 2 – 8, including music-and-movement classes for little ones. Ages 6 – 12 can enroll in a group guitar class, and there’s also a free Chess Club on Thursdays from 4 – 5 p.m. for ages 6 and older. In addition, Creative Corner also offers monthly Parents’ Night Out dates and there are summer camps in May and June.

Creative Corner Enrichment Studio is located at 110 Glancy St., Ste. 106, Goodlettsville. For more info, call 615-818-5865 or visit creativecornertn.com.
