Hospital Hospitality House provides lodging, meals and support services to patients and families traveling to Nashville hospitals for medical treatment.  This “home away from home” is staffed by volunteers, and the nonprofit has a current need for more help.  House Volunteers work one four-hour shift per week (Mon - Fri) during office hours (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.).  Volunteer responsibilities include answering office phones, registering new guests, working with databases, preparing mailings and assisting staff with administrative duties.  Residence Volunteers work one weekly shift, usually from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., and they assist with meals, coordinating special activities, maintaining the residence and more.  To learn more about volunteer opportunities, call Mimi Fondren at 329-0477 or e-mail her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
