About Deer Run Day Camps
DAY CAMPS: age 5 to completed grade 5
ADVENTURE DAY CAMPS: completed grades 6-8
DEEPER FAITH. GREATER ADVENTURES. Deer Run is a traditional camp — situated on 100 acres of scenic wooded property — where everyday distractions are removed enabling campers to discover their strengths, explore new adventures, forge friendships and complete challenges.
Passionate staff and counselors lead your child to authentically grow in faith, character, confidence, respect and leadership. The staff-to-camper ratio is higher than required standards allowing for closer supervision, deeper relationships with the counselors and other campers, plus a more powerful camper experience.
Registration includes ALL activities, a themed camper shirt and a link to download a video of your camper’s session.
Deer Run is a nondenominational, Christian camp located 35 miles south of Nashville and 10 miles from historic downtown Franklin.

- Extended care from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Choose both, or just morning or afternoon.
Day Camp ACTIVITIES: lake (water slide, aqua park, swimming, round Corcl boats, kayaks, canoes, zipline), pedal kart races, obstacle course, 45-ft climbing tower, human foosball, creek wading, nine-square-in-the-air, fun songs, recreational games, BB guns, archery, crafts, GagGa ball, carpetball, tetherball, Noah’s Park playground, worship, interactive age-appropriate small group Bible study.
Adventure Day Camp ACTIVITIES: All campers learn Outdoor Education and Survival Skills plus participate in Lake Activities (water slide, aqua park, swimming, round Corcl boats, kayaks, canoes, zipline), archery range & tournament, obstacle course, leap of faith, nine-square in-the-air, gaga ball, carpetball, BB guns, 45-ft climbing tower, worship, interactive age-appropriate small group Bible study. Campers are grouped into smaller “learning groups” during their adventure skills time to better learn and participate in activities which include shelter building, water filtration, fire starting, knot tying, navigation, tracking and trapping, fire building, lashing and knife safety.
