About Historic Sam Davis Home & Plantation
Do your children love learning about the past? Would you like them to know more about “yesteryear”? Summer Camps at the Historic Sam Davis Home & Plantation is a great opportunity for them to learn how people lived during the 18th and 19th centuries. Campers will explore the historic structures of the property and the 168 acres surrounding the historic house. Each camp is experiential and offers hands-on learning.
School of the Soldier explores life for soldiers during the Civil War.
Young Historians Camp allows children to learn what it takes to be a historian.
Jane Davis Academy surveys household and farm duties for women while their husbands and sons were away in battle.
During Natural History Camp children explore the property, and learn about agriculture and the space around them.
