The annual free event, Adventures in Agriculture, is Saturday, April 14! Get the family out of the house to learn what farm life is like and more.

Farm animals, trolley rides, games and more await your family this weekend! The annual Adventures in Agriculture is Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All ages enjoy hands-on activities in the tablet lab, live animal exhibits, food displays, gardening information and more. FFA will also be there to host a fishing rodeo. In addition, learn heritage skills, such as butter making, spinning yarn and more. Farmers are share their knowledge of animals, crops, homegrown foods, handmade products and more. too. Admission is free and open to the public. Kids, don’t forget to passport to pick up a passport to have stamped as you go through the adventure. Complete the passport to get a prize!

It all takes place at the Lane Agri-Park (315 John Rice Blvd., Murfreesboro). Canned food donations for the Rutherford County Food Bank are appreciated and can be turned in at the registration table. Visit adventuresinag.com to learn more and to register.
