Oh, the fun of Christmas on the silver screen! It all kicks off with "Elf" on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

A screening of It’s a Wonderful Life kicks off the Wonderful Life Foundation’s annual fundraiser to support children who are being treated for serious illnesses.

On Sunday, Dec. 16, the Franklin Theatre hosts a special screening of It’s a Wonderful Life at 7 p.m. In attendance will be Mary Owen, daughter of the movie’s lead actress, Donna Reed. Ms. Owen will share stories about the film, its characters and letters from World War II soldiers followed by a Q & A. Tickets are $12.
