We had the chance to see Disney’s Frozen before it hit the theater in 3D. It’s an amazing movie that kids will love, especially little girls with sisters.
The movie follows the life of two little princesses of which one has magical powers. Her powers grow more and more each day and the fear of it getting out of control sets in. As the girls grow apart from each other, viewers learn that their love stays forever strong.
The songs are fun and easy to follow. The comedy set in the movie is balanced with a little drama (there is a sad scene). Everyone’s obvious favorite character is the silly snowman, Olaf. His funny antics help set the mood and leave kids giggling like crazy. My favorite character is the sister with magical powers, Elsa. Her transformation throughout the movie is a wonderful delight.
So. If you’re looking for something to do, the move Frozen should be top of the list! Frozen is skating into theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 27. It’s the only animated/kids film between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad.
SYNOPSIS: In Frozen, fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad) in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.
