Introducing January Moon

One mom's innovative idea has blossomed into a brand-new local business meshing fashion with function.

When Nashville-based visual artist and jewelry designer Jenny Luckett gave birth to her son, Shepard, in January 2014, she didn’t realize how quickly everything would wind up in his mouth, including her neckwear!

What’s a stylish mom to do when carrying a sweet, slobbering, grabby little one? For Luckett, innovation is the answer! Luckett recently launched a line of wearable art for Mom and Baby called January Moon. What’s more, the jewelry is perfectly safe for Baby’s mouth when those little teeth start surfacing.

The January Moon line of teething jewelry is made from non-toxic, 100-percent silicone that’s free of BPA, PVC, cadmium, lead and phtalates, threaded onto genuine leather cords.

Available in a variety of colors, including primary, black-and-white, neutrals and seasons, the January Moon necklace line lets Mom maintain a sense of style while providing safety and solace to her teething tot, plus they’re easy to wash. Long necklaces are $78; minis are $68.

Check out the entire line and shop online at januarymoon.com.
