Farm life demonstrations, animal interaction, storytelling and more.

77th IROQUOIS STEEPLECHASE
Percy Warner Park, Nashville
Saturday, May 12
An afternoon of horse races benefiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt includes a stick horse race for kids 12 and younger (the winner receives a $100 gift certificate to Phillips Toy Mart). The Family Area includes free activities like interactive games, rides, slides, pony rides, face painting and more. Gates open at 8 a.m.; first race begins at 1 p.m. All kids 12 and younger are free this year.

TENNESSEE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL: ARTISAN & CRAFTS WEEKEND
Castle Gwynn, Arrington
Saturday, May 12 – Sunday, May 13
Medieval fun plus a marketplace with handcrafted items from around the globe.

HEROES & VILLAINS FAN FEST
Music City Center, Nashville
Saturday, May 12 – Sunday, May 13
A celebration of the stars of today’s comic inspired TV shows and movies, including celebrities on site from Battlestar Gallactica, The Walking Dead, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and more. Plus, immersive experiences like safe archery. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume.
