Your family can celebrate the autumn season during the free Pumpkin Patch Festival at the Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Sponsored by Sumner Parent, this year’s festivities include more happenings than before.
Ages 9 and younger can visit the pumpkin patch to make a selection (while supplies last), there will be carnival games and inflatables, Bruce Amato’s magic show is at 11 a.m., and live musical entertainment takes place at 10:20 a.m., 12 and 1 p.m. Costume contests take place at 10 and 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., and kids can take a whirl in dance-off competitions at 10:20 a.m., 12 and 1 p.m.
Get ready to pose for a family pic by taking advantage of your choice of a Halloween or fall harvest photo backdrop. Other activities include pumpkin decorating, face painting and more, and you can also purchase fall harvest produce.
