… Blue Man Group delivers a phenomenal, multi-sensory experience your kids will never forget!

A fist-pumping, exciting, out-of-this-world show like no other awaits your family at TPAC’s Jackson Hall this week with the Blue Man Group. It’s a night of loud house music — an energetic rock band backs the three blue guys who perform a lot of the percussion themselves by way of instruments elaborately made from PVC plumbing pipes — coupled with stunning visual effects that dazzle kids and adults of all ages.

The high-energy, 90-minute performance (there’s no intermission, so if you have little ones, be sure to hit the restroom before the show, because you won’t want to miss a second of it!) kicks off with one of Blue Man Group’s signature segments — drumming on barrels with the pouring of fluorescent paint on top that provides awesome glowing splashes throughout the number.

The blue men don’t speak, but there’s plenty of humorous, non-verbal communication and lots of audience interaction. The guys get into the crowd by crawling across the seats in the orchestra section to select a couple of audience members to join them on stage to participate in a couple of their segments, and they encourage the audience to join them through seven stereotypical rock concert movements — great fun!

The enthralling performance explores a bit of optic science and technology filled with fun tricks and hijinks. Huge on the WOW factor, kids will be ecstatic to experience the party atmosphere at the end of the show when the Blue Man Group tosses giant, color-changing, air-filled balls into the audience for the crowd to keep moving about while streamers and rolls of paper fly through the air with a vibrant light show in the background.

Blue Man Group delivers a phenomenal multi-sensory experience your kids will never forget, and be sure to stick around the Jackson Hall lobby after the show as the cobalt threesome come out to pose for photos with their fans.
