Sign Up for Summer First Tee

Local kids can tee off and learn important life lessons through a unique golf program in Hendersonville.

Sumner County kids ages 8 – 18 can learn the game of golf this summer while picking up some important life skills through The First Tee of Middle Tennessee.

There are three summer session’s happening in July:

• The PLAYer Introductory Class is July 24 – 28 from 5 – 6:30 p.m.
• The Birdie Group is July 17 – 21 from 5 – 7 p.m.
• The Par Group is July 24 – 28 from 5 – 6:30 p.m.

Nine Core Values of First Tee

The First Tee uses a unique Junior Golf & Life Skills curriculum that helps young people learn to manage emotions while teaching them how to resolve conflicts and how to effectively communicate with others. The program focuses on nine core values: honesty, respect, perseverance, integrity, confidence, courtesy, sportsmanship, responsibility and judgment.

Instruction takes place at the Country Hills Golf Course, 1501 Saundersville Road, Hendersonville. Cost for each session is $57.
