Start Summer With the Leiper’s Fork Crawfish Boil

by |

Get ready for a finger-licking good time this weekend with the Leiper’s Fork Crawfish Boil! Adults need tickets ($25 onine; $30 at the door), but kids 12 and under eat free at the Crawfish Boil taking place Saturday, May 20th. The menu includes sweet and succulent crawfish, corn, sausage & red potatoes. Kids activities are a part of the fun, including a slip ‘n slide that will be up all day long.

All Proceeds to Charity

The boil makes for an excellent way to kick off summer while supporting good causes. This year’s boil gives 100 percent of monetary donations, ticket sales and silent auction proceeds to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s campaign in honor of Leiper’s Fork resident Lily Hensiek. The boil also benefits the Community Outreach Ministries B.A.D.G.E. program through the Sheriff’s office which provides support to families in need.

What to Know

The Boil takes place from 1 – 11 p.m. with crawfish being served on long tables at 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Live music will be provided by several bands, starting at 1:30 p.m. Kids can enjoy activities including an all-day-long slip and slide. Bring your own beverages (alcohol is permitted) in addition to your own chairs and coolers.
