Summer Outdoor Movies

Pack up the kids and watch a movie under the stars at one of the area locations.

Catch a family flick outdoors at the following locations:

  • City of Franklin’s Parks Department’s free movie showings are June 22 (The Lego Ninjago), July 13 (Descendants 2) and Aug. 10 (Justice League) at Pinkerton Park at 8 p.m.
  • Elmington Park in Nashville hosts the free 24rd Annual Movies in the Park: May 31 (Coco), June 7 (Wonder Woman), June 14 (Legally Blonde) and June 21 (The Greatest Showman)
  • Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation’s free Movies Under the Stars showings are June 4 – July 28 at 8:30 p.m. at five outdoor spots Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat. It’s the same movie at each location in the same week; visit them online to see what’s playing.
  • Smyrna Parks and Recreation’s movie showing is Fridays, June 8 (Ferdinand) and Sept. 7 (Sherlock Gnomes) at Rotary Soccer Park. Admission is $1. Additional fun including inflatables and train rides are $1 each, too.
  • Nashville Shore’s Dive In Movies are held at 8 p.m. on Fridays July 6, 13, 20, 27 and Aug. 3. See complete movie title list online. Movies are free with paid admission.
