Parade around this weekend and add a blast of cheer to your family's weekend.
Your family can get into the holiday groove with two distinct Christmas parades in Sumner County, both taking place on Saturday, Dec. 8.
GALLATIN CHRISTMAS PARADE
The theme of Gallatin’s parade is “A Tennessee Christmas.” It starts at 12 p.m. on Steam Plant Road and ends at Gallatin High School.

SUMNER COUNTY CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE
Instead of deck the halls, it’s “Deck the Hulls!” Old Hickory Lake will be all aglow when several boats decked out in holiday lights and decor glide across the water providing a beautiful display of Christmas cheer.
The boat parade attracts thousands each year. It’s located in Drakes Creek at Mallard Point Park (next to Creekwood Marina). The boats depart at 5 p.m. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.
