The 2018 Tennessee State Fair kicks off on Friday! There are 14 rides this year specifically for little kids, and 16 more for big thrill seekers. New this year: Kids can feed live butterflies, and opening weekend features monster trucks.
LEAPIN’ LIONS … SEA LIONS, THAT IS! They sail out of the water to make a splash as the newest attraction at the Wilson County Fair. It’s the final weekend of the fair boasting all-new rides this year, including a large assortment of ones just for little kids.

East Nashville’s signature event, Tomato Art Fest, celebrates 15 years this Saturday featuring tomato-themed everything! There’s a parade, live music, a children’s art show, the kids’ Tomato Fairy/Tomato Elf contest, lots of tomato art and more. Costumes are highly encouraged.
