Kids Adventure Cruise

@ Riverbluff Park, Ashland City

Hey, kids ages 2 – 12! Get on board the Blue Heron for an adventure cruise along the Cumberland River. Cruise for 45 minutes before stopping at an island area for playtime in the sand and in shallow water. Have fun with bubble wands, rafts, boogies boards and kiddie kayaks. Bottled water and chips are included with admission.

Hop aboard the 22-passenger pontoon boat and enjoy a 90-minute cruise on the Cumberland River traveling through rural farmland areas and a wildlife refuge. Bottled water and chips are included with admission.

What was life like for a soldier during the Civil War? Kids ages 5 – 10 can find out what soldiers carried with them, what they ate and see a demonstration of a Civil War gun. In addition, participants will get to sample a traditional soldier’s snack — hardtack and jerky.
