Winterfest Brings Movies While You Ice Skate!

by |

Holly jolly fun is planned for Murfreesboro residents with Fountains at Gateway's first Winterfest.

Ready to go ice skating? You won’t have to travel to Nashville this winter! The Fountains at Gateway, Murfreesboro’s newest shopping destination, opens a rink this month during its inaugural Winterfest. Skate hours are available on their website. Cost to skate is $15 adults, $12 ages 4 – 12, free ages younger than 4 (visit them online to sign the waiver ahead of time to save time in line). There’s also a movie screen so you can watch movies while you’re skating (or taking a break). The rink is also be available for rent on Monday and Tuesday evenings for private holiday parties, too.

In addition to ice skating for all ages, come out for themed skate nights, movie nights on the rink, Christmas caroling and pictures with Santa! Lights and holiday decorations adorn the central plaza to create a magical experience for all ages, too. Some nights you can even come out to hear live music, too. Winterfest takes place Nov. 18 and continues through Jan. 3, 2018.

The Fountains at Gateway is located at 1500 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro. Learn more at 615-890-4651 or fountainsatgateway.com or fountainswinterfest.com.
