Enjoy the rodeo excitement watching competitions in bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, roping and more. Plus, kids can have fun participate in their own pint-sized contests like calf scramble and mutton bustin’.

HALF PINT TRIATHLON (REGISTER)

Kids ages 8 – 12 can swim, bike and run in this friendly competition.

LEIPER’S FORK CRAWFISH BOIL
Sander’s Barn, Franklin
Saturday, May 20
A crawfish boil, family activities, a silent auction and live music benefit two local charities: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year Campaign and Community Outreach Ministries B.A.D.G.E. program.

TENNESSEE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
Covington Glen, Arrington
Saturday, May 20 – Sunday, May 21
It’s “Pirate Invasion Weekend” at the Ren Fest! Swashbuckling pirates take over the grounds, and there are kids’ pirate costume contests, too. Of course, the usual festivities are on tap like the jousting tournaments and raptor shows.
