Space is limited and online registration is open for WCPR's Tiny Tots Soccer Program!
Your little one is growing. His independence is showing. His once shy behavior is now a rumbling ball of energy at age 3. He's ready to play with others his age.
He's ready to play alongside others now says the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). This is different from his side-by-side play he's accustomed to. Also, the AAP says, "Your preschooler now has the coordination and balance of an adult." So, don't think he's not ready for sports... like soccer.
If he loves kicking a ball around, sign him up for a six-week Tiny Tots Soccer Clinic. Online registration is open for the program available to ages 2 - 5. Registration deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 27, or until full.
The Tiny Tots soccer program teaches kids the basics and fundamentals of the sport. They have fun with engaging drills and games. Clinics take place once per week for six weeks.
Tiny Tots is on Wednesdays, March 6 - April 10 at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park (1485 Volunteer Pkwy., Brentwood). Register your 2- to 3-year-old, which meets 4 - 5 p.m., with code #13191. Register your 4- to 5-year-old, which meets 5 - 6 p.m., with code #13192. A parent must be present during class, too. Each child must also bring his own size 3 soccer ball to class. Cost is $35 per child.
